A source tells us, "The film focuses on a social issue, and is about how youngsters rise to the occasion and revolutionize society. Lakshmi Menon plays a student activist in the film. She, along with her group, travels to places and puts up street plays to create awareness about issues that plague the society. In fact, her opening scene features her staging a march against smoking and drinking. The team shot one such sequence a couple of months ago. Lakshmi had to practise hard to get her pitch and tone right for the theru koothu portions, and shot the sequence for over a period of three days."
