Actor Ganesh Venkataraman, who has been part of successful multi-starrers last year including Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru and Ivan Vera Maathiri, is excited about playing the solo lead in Achcharam. The film is touted to be a thriller, and has Poonam Kaur playing the lead opposite him.
“The film is being directed by Mohan Krishna, a good friend and former associate of Radhamohan. While Srikanth Dheva is composing the music, CP Narayanan (of Abhiyum Naanum fame) is penning the dialogues. It’s a very comfortable team to work with and we’ve already shot some portions,” says Ganesh, “In the next schedule, I will be shooting a kuthu song, and I’m pretty kicked about it. I will be sporting a moustache in it.”
Meanwhile, Ganesh will be joining the team of Raja’s next with Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara in Bangalore. He adds, “Raja has been working on the script for two years, and I’m thankful to him for giving me a pivotal role in this film. There’s a lot of action and adventure in it. The camaraderie between Ravi, Nayan, Sricharan and I will be interesting.”
The actor also has Guns Of Benares, the Hindi remake of Polladhavan, in his kitty.
