Vadivelu to play hero again, in film titled Eli

Vadivelu is set to begin shooting for his next film, which will be titled Eli (rat). The film will be directed by Yuvaraj Dayalan, who had earlier directed the comedian in Tenaliraman. The shoot for this period film will commence from September.Confirming the news, director Yuvraj says, "Yes, I am doing my next film also with Vadivelu sir and the shoot will begin next month. The film will be set in the 1970s, which is when western culture started to influence Indians.
Meanwhile, a source in the know reveals, "The film will be titled Eli. Vadivelu's character will have the funny characteristics of a rat in the film and hence the title. The other cast and crew are yet to be finalized."
