I wrote the script I did not have Hansika in mind. It was my producer
Jabak who insisted that I meet her to narrate it. Having brought her on
board, she was so good that I can’t think of anyone else in her place,”
said director Magizh Tirumeni at the audio launch of Meagaamaan. He also
said that there was an intimate song, written by Karky and picturised
on Arya and Hansika.
Hansika
was apprehensive that such a scene might damage her goody-goody image.
“I assured her that it would be shot aesthetically,” Magizh added. The
bubbly girl was not present at the event. Arya,
who is sporting a long beard for his next film, said, “This is the
first time I am doing a action thriller. Even as he approached me with
his script, Magizh had done the entire homework for my look. I had only
to go for the shoot straight away.”
