Confirming the news, GV says, "A group of my fans were already involved in social activities for the last four years and it seemed fitting to officially launch the fan club now."
The club, GV says, comprises mostly youngsters. "The fan club was mainly launched to bring all my young fans, who are spread across different social media, in a single space. Fan clubs are generally viewed in a negative manner here. However, there are fan clubs of many actors like Kamal, Vijay and Suriya, that are doing many constructive, development-oriented social welfare activities. My fan club will follow the same path."
