Amitabh Bachchan sings once again for Ilaiyaraaja

Amitabh Bachchan, who is playing one of the leads in Balki's Shamitabh, along with Dhanush and Akshara Haasan, has now crooned a song for the film.The music for this multi-starrer has been composed by Ilaiyaraaja. Interestingly, Amitabh had previously sung a number -Mere Paa -in Balki's Paa, which also had music by Ilaiyaraaja.

Amitabh wrote on his blog recently , “Oh and yes another session with Aadesh at his music studio last night did result in another song that I had to sing for `Shamitabh'...the finest quality of music from the genius of Ilaiyaraja, the magician from Chennai.

Big B added: “How many years have passed since his emergence and how till today his prominence continues. The veteran, the master, who nurtured some very special musicians.”
