Jai is now one of the busiest actors in K’town, which has even had him refraining from giving interviews.
The
actor is awaiting the release of Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah, which is
being publicised as a love story against a cultural and religious
backdrop. It was shot over more than two years, and the film has not hit
the screens yet. Now, what’s interesting is that the actor is busy
romancing the Viswaroopam girl, Andrea Jeremiah, in his next film,
Valiyavan.
The first schedule of shooting
is over now in Chennai, the second set to start in the next two days.
Jai has already played the lead in the director’s first K’town film,
Engeyum Eppothum, which got rave reviews from the audience. Saravannan,
director of the film, says, “The film is way different from my previous
one, the story is centred on Andrea and Jai. The genre of the film is a
mix of romance and action, though the action is less compared to the
romance sequences.
"It was easy for me to work
with Jai as I have worked with him earlier. I wanted Andrea to play the
female lead as she was apt for the characterisation in the script. I
didn’t think of any other girl when I wrote it,” he concludes.
The film is produced by S. K Studios. Andrea is already busy shooting for National Award winning director Ram’s Tharamani.
