Actress
Swathi Reddy of Idharkuthaane Aasaipattai Balakumara fame has trashed
reports of her getting hitched to a Chennai-based businessman by the end
of the year. A section of the media had reported that the actress had
met her prospective partner during her stay in Chennai while working for
her Tamil film and that the families of both were looking to finalize
the match.
However, when we contacted the actress, she brushed off the reports, laughing, "This is absolute rubbish. I don't know where these rumours are coming from. The last time I was in Chennai was almost three months ago, when I was wrapping up the shoot of my film Vadacurry." The actress also stresses that rumours like these, in fact, put her off the dating market. "It's really sad that people say something like this, because it ruins my chances of ever meeting somebody," rues Swathi.
She adds, "I hardly come to Chennai, except for shooting my films. When I am shooting, I just focus on work. I hardly go out. And even if I do go out, it is only with my friends from the filmi circles. So, where is the question of me meeting a so-called businessman?"
