There's
news about music director GV Prakash Kumar, who has now turned hero
with Pencil and Trisha Illana Nayanthara. A source close to the
composer-turned-actor actor says that in Trisha Illana Nayanthara, his
second film as hero, GV plays a fan of former Chief Minister and
superstar MG Ramachandran (MGR).
Says the source, "The film focuses on the events that happen from the time G V finishes school and ends college. GV plays an ardent fan of the late Chief Minister MGR and often sports a T-shirt with his picture in the film."
The film, contrary to popular perception, has two heroines. Adds the source, "While Rakshita, who has been now changed her name to Anandhi (and is currently acting as the female lead in Prabu Solomon's Kayal), plays the first heroine, the second heroine's role is played by a new girl, Shrishti." The film, the source says, will be a "cult romance" and also informs that the team will begin the shooting for the film in a week's time.
