Amala Paul turns it on in a veshti

Arya and Amala Paul will be making a cameo appearance in Partheipan's Kathai Thiraikathai Vasanam Iyakkam, in which they will be seen playing a couple. In fact, the two actors shot for their sequences recently. Disclosing details of her character in the film, she says she plays an eccentric woman, who has extreme mood swings, and Arya, who has 'special powers', plays her husband.

Amala says, "When Partheipan sir told me about my role, I was quite kicked as I've never played a woman whose moods oscillate between extremes. She's very hyper, happy one minute, sad the other minute, and gets angry the very next instant. For one of the sequences, I even wore a veshti and shirt, dressed like a man! In the film, Arya is someone who has an illusion disorder of sorts. We are two extremely different individuals and how our personality traits bring problems in our relationship is what our little story is about in the film."
