Shahid distributes blankets to building watchmen

 Shahid Kapoor is currently in Kashmir, braving the sub-zero temperatures. And back home, a bunch of building watchmen have a word of thanks for the actor. A couple of weeks ago, when Mumbai felt the chill, Shahid had noticed that the night watchmen in his compound were braving the cold winds without even a proper blanket. 

    A person residing in Sasha’s complex (where Pankaj Kapur, Priyanka Chopra, Minissha Lamba and many others also stay) called to say that the actor was disturbed to see the watchmen’s plight. His society doesn’t allow the night watchmen to make bonfires in the compound because of the smoke and also because it is considered a safety hazard. So after Shahid witnessed their predicament, he stepped out to buy blankets for them. And the guys who guard his society are grateful to the actor.
