After doing a supporting role in Thanga Meenkal, actress Padmapriya is back in
action again. We hear that the actress, who has been missing from the
Kollywood scene for a while now, has danced for composer Devi Sri
Prasad’s kuthu number in Sasikumar’s upcoming film Brahman, which has
been directed by Socrates. The song, Vada Vada Nanba, has been crooned
by Andrea and penned by Vivekha.
A source close to the film says, “The song was recently shot in a set that was erected in the city. Padmapriya was the director’s first choice for this song, and the actress completed this kuthu dance in just a couple of days.” While Sasikumar plays the lead in the film, debutante Lavanya Tripathy plays the female lead.
It can be recalled that Padmapriya has already done a kuthu dance in Vishnuvardhan’s Pattiyal. The actress has stated many times that she doesn’t want to stick to a particular image and that she was ready to take up any role any time.
